Q.  How has the TURNCOUPLE® Assembly been received?

A. Prior to manufacturing, we did some market research among boat builders, with positive results.  When we went back to them with finished product, however, they were hesitant to purchase in one size only, as they would have to use a different product for the same application in different sizes.  Also, the boating industry is notoriously slow to accept innovations in the plumbing sector. Consequently, we started selling direct to consumers, primarily through large marine consumer trade shows. 

Over three years we began to build a reputation for the product in the marine world.  In 2005 the TURNCOUPLE® Assembly was a winner of SAIL Magazine's prestigious Freeman Pittman Award for innovation, at the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis, MD.  According to a survey we did in 2007, our boating customers are very satisfied with the ease and functionality of their TURNCOUPLES®.   We have been told that, in addition to a full line of products, boaters and boat builders would be interested in our high-quality adapters to replace the generic fittings currently available.
